What is Good Niche Co.?
Good Niche Co. is a clothing and accessories company based on the pillars of art, science, and generosity. Designs like watercolor paintings of toads, isopods, opossums and other niche interest wildlife grace beautiful skirts, comfy shirts, tea towels, stickers, and more!
Good Niche not only helps you feel good, surrounding yourself with the unique things you love, but do good. A percentage of sales will go to the betterment of those interests (e.g. a toad skirt sale will benefit a local wildlife rehab; a pangolin shirt will give to a pangolin rescue non-profit).

Who is Good Niche Co.?
Good Niche Co. started with Wisconsin artist, Christy Grace and her love for unique creatures. She couldn't find a lot of toad specific clothes which got her thinking about creating her own patterns and designs. Meeting other reptile/amphibian/creepy-crawly/nature devotees like herself, Christy knew how they adore these niche interests and proudly share the love for them. Being able to support non-profits only adds to the good! The toad pattern is just the beginning!
Christy has a lot of expertise with artistic skills but not as much experience with sewing so she went to someone who has helped her weird clothing ideas come to life the past: her mother, Lucy! Coming from a background of education and skills for sewing all kinds of things, Lucy is up for making these niche designs come to life.
We are adding to the team currently as well! We have a new sewest, Lauren, who is excited about finding ways to make fashion both sustainable and made to fit many body types. Also joining us is Christy's sister, Becky, who will help organize, streamline, and do other business support so that Christy can keep focus on making more niche art to share with you all! -
What's in a niche?
There are three accepted pronunciations of niche, most commonly: 'nich, rhymes with itch' and 'nēsh, rhymes with sheesh'. Creator of Good Niche Co., Christy, says it like the sheesh version but is just fine with whatever's most comfortable for you.
